The end cap holds a proper display and a full control panel rather than a single button, so hue, saturation, brightness and colour temperature are all set on the light itself. An electric pump ships in the box, so inflation is a button rather than a breath, and a ball-head mount and flat plate mean it goes straight onto a stand.
Who it is for
Video creators and content shooters who use colour as part of the look rather than as a correction. If you only ever shoot on white light, buy the Tube and put the difference toward a second one — two soft sources beat one clever one.
What it will not do
Same two hours at full output, and the same caveat: it will not overpower daylight and it cannot throw a hard-edged shadow. It is a soft source and nothing else.
